Careers Support for Employers

Employers play a vital role in preparing young people for their next steps into employment or further study.

Wadebridge School works closely with a wide range of Cornish and National employers to help students develop workplace skills through meaningful work experience, employer‑led activities and curriculum enrichment. These partnerships support the Equalex careers framework by giving students first‑hand insight into local industries and future career routes.

We invite employers to engage with us through activities such as Work Experience placements, careers talks, curriculum links and our student‑led Business Breakfast Events, where employers can share expertise and help shape the future workforce.

By inspiring students from an early age, these partnerships often develop into valuable and meaningful Five‑day work experience placements in Year 10, creating a clear pathway from education to employment in the local community.
