Work Experience

Students at Wadebridge School are offered the chance to complete work experience in both Year 10 and again in Year 12. Work experience is a valuable opportunity for students to sample the world of work and to gain an insight into life outside the classroom. Students in Year 10 have two weeks for their work experience which can either be a two week placement with the same employer or they can do two separate weeks in different settings.  Year 12 only do one week but this should be a more structured placement than the one they completed in Year 10 and should be something relating to their chosen career or subjects they are taking at A level.
